2022 Great Lakes Judging Center Orchid Webinar

The Great Lakes Judging Center is pleased to announce its annual education seminar to take place on Saturday, June 18, 2022 from 10am to noon EDT and Sunday, June 19, 2022 from noon to 3:15pm EDT.  The topic is “The Phalaenopsis Alliance”. 

This seminar will be online as a Webinar event.  The schedule for both days will be online talks.  Registration is required and is now available using the following link: GLJC Seminar Registration

Featured speakers will be Drew Goddard of This Side of Paradise on “Rare and Misidentified Species and Primary Hybrids”, Norman Fang of Norman's Orchids on “New Color Forms of Phalaenopsis Species”, and Bryan Goddard, hobbyist on “Perspective from an Exclusively Phalaenopsis Hobbyist”.  There will be additional talks by members of the Toronto judging Center.

AOS Judging

Monthly AOS Judging has been moved to another location for this month only.  It will be held on June 18 after the Saturday speakers at the home of Lynn O'Shaughnessy at 1721 Peavy Rd. Howell, Michigan 48843.

Fundraising Fun

We will have some beautiful notecards for sale featuring the photography of our four center judges who have taken photos of our center awards:  Katie Payeur, Ed Cott, Mei Ling Clemens and Lynn O'Shaughnessy.  Wait until you see them!
